Hello Everyone!
Shipping Update
We have most of the items set aside for the rest of the orders (about 100 left!) but we are still waiting for some items. We have 4 packages held up at customs and a few more ready to ship to us, but they are doing one more quality inspection first before they ship.
Delayed Items
A few items will also be delayed until the end of the month, one of them being Isis Hair pins. They thought they sent them, but it was a few Isis enamel pins instead. So, they must go back into production for them. They are giving us production priority, but they still won’t be done until the end of this month.
International Shipping Delays
We are also having some issues with shipping outside the US. So far, we ran into issues shipping to Australia due to shipping restrictions right now. If we are having an issue with shipping your package, we will message you directly to let you know. This is only for international shipping outside the US.
Convention Time!
We will be taking a break (since we are waiting on packages anyways) to do Rose City Comic Con (which isn’t really a break!). Once we get back, hopefully everything will be delivered so we can finish up these orders! Don’t worry, someone is home to receive the packages and take care of the cat!
New Manufacturer Update
We have received a large chunk of pins from the new manufacturer. We will message some of you individually if we have any questions regarding full sets. Some of you are waiting for photos, but we will have to message you when we get back and after we receive everything.
Website Update
It seems we are delaying our website launch again due to delays in shipping and our last-minute convention decision. It may be delayed just a week though. Once we get back, we will have a better timeline.

Hello Everyone!
Website Launch Update
We will NOT be launching our site tomorrow. We have been receiving more of the missing pins from all your orders, so we have been super busy fulfilling orders instead! We are about 70% done, yay! The new website launch date will be September 18th, and we will announce on our social media soon.
Remakes Update
We are finally receiving Original Horus and more of Khnum, Bastet and Anubis! We should receive them after the weekend and can resume sending out orders :) We may contact some of you as we go to clarify some things, if you ordered a lot of items. We will message on Kickstarter first, and then by email if we don’t hear from you in a few days.
What are we waiting for still?
We are still waiting for a lot of hair pin remakes, especially Large Isis Hair Pins and Mirrored Lotus Hair Pins. Hopefully they will come with the next shipment in about two weeks.
Shipping Address Updates
You can always message us if you have any questions or need to update shipping info. If you update on Kickstarter it does NOT update on Backerkit. If you have moved in the last 6 months, please double check Backerkit and contact us immediately if your address needs to be changed.
Prepping Orders Ahead of Time
We just wanted to make this quick so we can get back to work fulfilling your orders. We are prepping a lot now so that when we receive the shipment in a few days it will be much quicker! We are getting to the much larger orders now!

Isis Remakes! Website Launch date!

Hello Everyone!
Isis Remakes
We finally received Original and Alternate Large Isis!
A lot of orders were waiting for this pin, and we will be finishing up about 35 orders today! We are very relieved we can get a large batch out today and will be going through the orders again to see what else we can ship immediately.
The main Large pins we are waiting for now are Set, Wadjet, Hathor, Horus, Thoth and Khepri. I asked if they could work on and send these next so we can get out another batch of orders. They should be sending more finished pins in the next week and we will update you all on what we receive.
Website Launch (Finally!)
We are planning to launch our website on August 28th. We are hoping to have all the pins in by then, but we are mostly wanting to have a huge B-grade pin sale (we just have so many…). All Kickstarter Orders will take priority still. We haven’t announced it on our socials yet just in case we need to change the date. We should know for sure after we receive the next batch of remakes.
Please message us any time if you have questions or need us to change your address. We have to update it manually on Backerkit. If you change it on Kickstarter if does not update with us.

Finally, some good news!

Hello Everyone!
We received some of the Little pin remakes and they are looking good! The main Littles we needed to fulfill a lot of orders were Little Bastet, Little Sekhmet, and the Eyes. Now that we have them, we can go back to fulfilling orders, Yay!
A lot of pins are still being remade and we will be receiving them over the next few weeks. So far, they look good so we are hopeful, but are still not going to just rely on the one company just in case.
We are finalizing our orders and artwork with the new pin manufacturer. More than half of the pins are already in production. We won’t start getting the new pins from the new company for about 6-8 weeks from now. Luckily, every pin is a separate order so they will ship as they are done as opposed to shipping large boxes at once. This will be very helpful for us to grade the pins and stay organized. Once we start receiving the new pins, we will take photos to show you all. For those of you who got complete sets of pins, we will message you separately once we get to your orders. You can choose which set you want!
We can’t wait to have more to show you all and more to post on our social media. For now, we are just happy something is finally working out!
Please double check your address again and message us if you need us to change it. You will receive an email with tracking once your order has shipped, and it will be updated within 24-48 hours with the estimated delivery date.

More In-Depth update!

Hello Everyone!
Here is an update of what has been happening in the last few weeks (and actually the last few months):
Manufacturing Errors
We have had to go back and forth with the manufacturer about too many flaws on some of the enamel pin designs. They were trying to figure out what happened. When we first received the pins back in March, it started out so well with barley any pins with flaws. As we were going through the newer pins that were sent to us, we started to see more and more pins with black spots all over them. We took pictures and videos to show them. They remade the pins, and when we received them, they all had the same problems! Some batches would have half the pins be perfect, and the other half complete garbage.
Manufacturer Excuses
It has been very confusing and stressful. The manufacturer had tons of different excuses: First it was that they hired new workers that didn’t know what they were doing; Then they tried to say it was the plating company they work with, so they switched plating companies but still had the same issues; Then they tried to say some of our lines were too thin (even though half the pins were perfectly fine with the same exact lines!); Then they said, since there is no nickel in the metal, it caused the metal to tarnish within three days!
My Theory
All these excuses may be somewhat true, but also seem like BS to me. My theory is that they switched material in the middle of our order and the new material has issues. That is why the first part of our order came out perfect, but progressively got worse as they sent us boxes of pins. The reason I believe this is, as I was placing the order for each group of pins, I was told that the price of the metal was going to go up after my order. The price was being raised for the metal they were sourcing. I think they just switched to a cheaper metal instead of continuing with the same source because the price was too high. Suffice to say, once we are done with this project, we will not be working with them ever again (but I’m not going to mention that to them until we receive everything!).
Did they ever fix the Problem?
So, the conclusion is, they are covering the pins with an epoxy. It seems to be working. We received an example of Little Hathor a few days ago. Here is a video, can you tell which one has the epoxy and which one doesn’t? Comment below and we will reveal in the next update!

They said the pins they sent with the epoxy hadn’t been polished yet. I don’t know why they would send a sample that is not completely finished and perfect so I can compare with the past pins. But even like this I don’t think it is too noticeable! They are sending another sample out today of a Large design so we can see it in person before approval. We should receive it around Tuesday and we will make another update when we do.
Will the pins look different?
We are trying our best to make sure all of the pins are good quality and the same quality as each other. We don’t want your matching sets to look mis-matched! That is why we have not gone with another manufacturer yet. We are starting to work with someone else for remakes, but they will be slightly different. The colors won’t match exactly, and the gold will be lighter, more of a champaign gold. We also will not be able to make any more hair pins unless we find another hair pin manufacturer. Therefore, this run of enamel pins and hair pins will be limited edition.
Website Launch
We are still working on our website and would like to launch soon with very limited quantities and pre-orders for the pins we don’t have in stock yet. This will mostly be to help us get rid of the B-pins. All of your orders take priority and as soon as we have all of the pins for your orders, we will package and ship them. When we have a launch date, we will let everyone know, with a special coupon code just for Kickstarter Backers!
When will we receive more of the remakes?
We will receive the next box of pins after July 23rd, which should include the rest of the Little designs. A lot of your orders are just missing a Little Bastet, Little Sekhmet, or Eye of Horus/Ra! Once we have those designs, we can make another dent in all the orders!
