Hello Everyone!

Backerkit Surveys

These will be sent our shortly but there are a few things you should know first!

You will have the option to choose the items you already pledged for and to add-on any items if you have extra funds. You can also add more items all the way up until April 19th and make changes to your add-ons.

Only submit your survey completely if you know for sure you will not want to add anything else before the closing date on April 19th

If you submit and/or pay for any funds owed right away, you will lose out on the special Kickstarter pricing later on! It will ask you if you would like to pay now or later, or even make a payment plan. If you pay now, your card will be charged right away, and your survey will be locked. You are currently getting special Kickstarter pricing on some items and do not want to lose that if you change your mind later! You can still add-on items now, just don’t lock the survey unless you are for sure.

If you do accidently lock your survey or change your mind and want to add something later just contact us. There is a way for us to manually add in an item, but we haven’t done it yet so we will have to figure it out when the time comes!

Backerkit Freebie Stretch Goal Anyone?

We were thinking of adding a freebie pin for Backerkit if we get to $10,000! We haven’t revealed the design yet but were seriously thinking about it first. There would be a freebie sticker for everyone, including Kickstarter backers! Since new Pre-orders will not be getting the other pins/stickers, we wanted to make the freebie available for orders over $50. It would also be available for free to all Kickstarter backers over $100 (since you are already getting freebies at $40, $50, and $75). This price would include the initial pledge + add-ons + shipping. We wanted to know what you guys think first :)

Backerkit Surveys

We apologize for the delay! Surveys will be sent out as soon as we hear back from Backerkit (apparently they are closed on the weekends...) In the meantime, you can check out the Pre-Order shop since it is now live! (link on our Kickstarter page) You don't have to add anything to your cart yet (for add-ons) until after you receive your surveys. 

Special Pricing for Kickstarter Backers Only!

The Pre-Order Shop will look a little different for Kickstarter backers compared to new Pre-Orders. There will not be any additional shipping charges for Kickstrater backers! Once you get your survey, you will use that link to get your personal account and special pricing! 

We simplified the pricing a little and created a few deals for Kickstarter backers who would like to add these items in addition to their initial pledge:

• Additional Large Design Enamel Pins and Hair Pins can be added for $11 Each (Compared to $12 Each for Pre-Orders)
• Additional Stickers can be added for $2 Each (Compared to $3.50 Each for Pre-Orders)
• Previous (King Tut, Nefertiti, and Sphinx) Freebies are only free for Kickstarter Backers!

Deals for Kickstarter Backers and Pre-Orders

We simplified these prices for everyone! (prices may vary on our future website):

• Postcard Design $8 Each; Complete 18 Piece Set $140
• Canopic Jar Postcard $8 Each, Complete 4 Piece Set $30
•  Matted 8"x10" Art Prints $20 Each
• Additional Collar Pin Sets can be added for $20 Each

We are making the freebie enamel pins/hair pins available for purchase at a special rate for everyone! They will be $7 Each ($11-$12 on our website in the future). This is mostly for Pre-Orders since they do not qualify for the free pins. We are still figuring out the logistics behind adding the freebies, which is part of the survey hold-up.

Pre-Order Shop Closing Date Extended!

Due to popular demand we have decided to extend the Pre-Order Shop closing date! It will now close on April 19th! This should give plenty of time for add-ons and for us to still ship orders out by end of April :) Any Balances due will be charged on Tuesday, April 20th.

We would love your feedback if you get a chance to check out the Pre-Order shop. We have been looking it over for the last two weeks but there may be something we missed. Please let us know if there is a way we can make it better and more user-friendly :)

Pre-Surveys
Thank you to all of you who filled out the pre-survey, we appreciate all of your feedback! Our future campaigns will definitely be improved :) We are still going through them and are waiting for a few more people to fill them out. We already started ordering items based on your responses. Thank you for your help!

Backerkit Surveys and Pre-Order Store
We are almost ready to launch Backerkit! We are in review with the Backerkit team and are fixing a few things first. We will then do a soft launch or "smoke test" where 5% of you will receive the survey first to test it out. This will help us fix any bugs before sending the surveys to everyone. The Pre-Order store will still open around February 22nd and you should receive your surveys shortly after.

Add-Ons
Once you receive your Backerkit survey you first answer the questions about your initial pledge. If you don't see an item you are pledged for or an option you were expecting please contact us before submitting the survey!

After the survey, you will be able to add more items to your order. You may have a credit if you added additional funds to your initial pledge, which can be used for add-ons. You can also add more items to your cart, which you won't be charged for until after the Pre-order store closes. This works about the same as Kickstarter. Please message us if you have any questions :)

'Thank You' card design revealed!

Hello Everyone!

'Thank You' Card

As promised, here is the 5"x7" metallic gold Thank You card that will be included in all of your packages! 

The back will have all of the text so that you can display the front. A lot of you were asking for Ma'at so we decided to do something special since we didn't get a chance to make a pin for this campaign. We will also be posting this tomorrow on social media :)

Pre-Surveys

We finished sending out the pre-surveys last night. Once we tally it all up we will let you know the most popular Egyptian gods and items, but I bet you all can guess!

Feedback

Thank you so much to those who gave feedback so far! It has been really helpful and you all have great suggestions and advice :) We can't wait to hear from the rest of you!

Re-Branding

We decided to seperate our hand-made jewelry items from our artwork and enamel designs on social media. Our instagram for our Kickstarter items is now @bvenamelart, and our other items will be on @bottivingelo_handcrafted. Please follow us for the items and updates you would like to see!

New Website!

All of our Egyptian White Lotus Series items will have a home on our new website at bvenamelart.com!  We are still designing the website so there is nothing to see yet but we will post an update when it is ready.

Kickstarter Campaign Duration

Kickstarter suggests holding a campaign for only 30 days yet we noticed a lot that go on for 45-60 days or more. We are also getting a lot of messages from people who said they completely missed our campaign! How do you all feel about Kickstarter campaigns that last more than 30 days? We would really appreciate your opinion :)

We can't believe it is over...but not really!

Hello Everyone!

Thank you all so much for all of your support! All 390 of you! You have all been so amazing :) We can't believe it has ended, and what a turn-out the last 2 days! 

We also gained over 250 new followers on instagram in the last 30 days! That is a lot for us as we are still trying to increase our following. You can check us out (if you haven't already!) at instagram.com/bottivingelo or facebook.com/bottivingelo.

This has been the shortest yet longest 30 days of our lives and we can't believe all that we got done! There is also still more to come: We are almost finished with the Free Post Card art and still working on the backgrounds to the other character designs. We should also have a survey for you all soon for ordering and feedback purposes. We will post updates as we go to keep you all informed on what is happening :)

We added more time for Add-ons/Pre-orders! Here is the updated timeline:

Surveys will still open on February 22, but will now close on Friday, March 26th. You won't be charged for Add-ons until Saturday, March 27th! I hope these dates work out for everyone :) This will also give us time to receive all the items we ordered and start preparing packages so that beginning April we can send out all of your orders!

Thank you all so much again! Now, time to get back to ceating :)
